Find Top Spots is a modern directory platform designed to help users — especially tourists — easily find the best restaurants, cafes, attractions, hotels, gyms, beaches, and more, in any city around the world.

It provides users with location-based results, detailed listings with photos, working hours, user reviews, ratings, and more. Designed with clarity and simplicity in mind, the site is built for young, on-the-go users looking for quality experiences with minimal friction.

Design Process Summary

1. Understanding the User & Purpose

• Had a few sessions with the client (freelance collaboration) to understand goals
• Based on the nature of the product, I assumed most users were young, mobile-first, and looking for quick, visually clear info
• Reviewed several global and local competitors to identify common UX flaws like clutter and poor navigation

2. Structuring Information

• Organized listings under clear, visually distinctive categories
• Designed a smart search with filters for:
• Location
• Category
• Distance
• Nearby cities
• Focused on clean information architecture so users could find places quickly and make decisions easily

3. UI Design Approach

• Adopted a minimal UI style for focus and readability
• Used progressive disclosure to show key metrics first, then deeper insights
• Created visual consistency across the 3 tools, even though their data types varied
