Ranabit – Cryptocurrency Exchange Platform

Overview

Ranabit is a cryptocurrency exchange platform designed for both new and experienced users. It enables users to track market movements, buy/sell crypto assets, manage portfolios, and learn the fundamentals of crypto trading through an integrated academy and blog.

The platform also includes secure onboarding, KYC (Know Your Customer) verification, and multi-step withdrawal authentication, with a detailed personal dashboard for users to oversee and manage their assets.

Design Process Summary

1. Discovery & Stakeholder Collaboration

• The project began with stakeholder presentations and a feature breakdown document
• We reviewed several major crypto exchange competitors and discussed pros/cons of their UX
• The project was fast-paced, so we aligned quickly and went straight into high-fidelity UI design

2. Designing for Complexity

• Focused on making data-heavy dashboards digestible and easy to scan
• Designed:
• Market views with sorting, searching, and real-time price changes
• Asset overviews with gain/loss tracking and visual breakdowns
• Verification flows (authentication, credit card input, account linking)
• Academy & blog as softer, educational elements to support crypto newcomers

3. Usability + Trust

• Prioritized clear interaction patterns and trust-building UI during sensitive flows like:
• Account creation
• KYC verification
• Asset withdrawal and account linking

4. Dev Collaboration

• Worked closely with developers to ensure UI handoff was smooth and assets/dev-ready
• Maintained communication to address implementation challenges in real time

Final Designs

Outcome

• Delivered a full suite of high-fidelity screens under tight deadlines
• Created a cohesive experience that balanced education, trading functionality, and security
• Developers were able to implement the platform with minimal UI friction thanks to close collaboration
